Amy and Doug

When we met Amy and Doug last year, we remembered how they held hands for almost the entire meeting. That really warmed my heart. These two really seem to balance each other perfectly, and isn't that what marriage is all about?


Sharon and Lauren from It's My Party, Inc. were the planners (we love them!) and the event was at the Westin Buckhead. We really enjoy shooting there--and the staff there is always so lovely and friendly.


My highlight was definitely when Amy and Doug saw each other for the first time...they were both so genuinely emotional and overwhelmed in the moment and that was so touching.


The ceremony was officiated by one of Doug's college friends who is now a rabbi and so that added such a personal touch to their ceremony.



The other personal touch that we just loved, was that Amy and Doug (who absolutely ADORE children) included their dear friends' children in their ceremony and in the bridal party. How can you resist oohing and ahhing when the cutest little flowergirls walk ever so sweetly down the aisle?


It was a really lovely celebration, and Amy and Doug were never too far from each other's side.We just hope their life together is always filled with as much love as they showed to each other tonight!
