Karen and Mark

Saturday we spent the day at the Intercontinental Hotel for Karen and Mark's wedding. Martha Jo and Emily could not have been more lovely and gracious, as this was our first time shooting at their hotel. It was a GREAT experience.

First of all, the weekend was in the capable hands of Sharon Fisher and Lauren LeNoir from It's My Party. We knew it was going to run smoothly as soon as we got there. Karen was getting ready in her suite with her sisters and some friends and they were so calm, cool and collected. That always makes our job so much easier! We did some great shots of Karen in her gown and with her amazing jewelry and headed down to see Mark at the Chuppah.

Ahhh...the flowers...some of the most beautiful we have seen. The chuppah was illuminated with candles, and decorated with tulle and gorgeous flowers that were so elegant and romantic. Tony Brewer and his crew did the most wonderful job! We couldn't get over the chuppah.

The ceremony was beautiful, officiated by Rabbi Sugarman from The Temple. He has known the Koenig family for years, and the service was lovely and so personal.

After the cocktail hour, the celebration began. And our friends from Platinum were so on...they had that party moving all the way til the very end. The guests were BEGGING them to keep playing.

The flowers were amazing, the ballroom was gorgeous, the cake was beautiful, the bride and groom were so happy together...another great wedding!
